What Is In Samsung's New S6 Phone?
Launched to coincide with the new financial year, Samsung's much vaunted latest version of the popular Galaxy will retail for a little shy of £600. The new Galaxy S6 will be accompanied by an even more pricey S6 Edge version, but both smart phones are predicted to be among the most welcomed gadgets of 2015 despite the cost. Both models boast impressive features and processing power. They are specified with 64 bit, octa-core Exynos 7420 processors. The S6 will have a 5.1 inch display and, perhaps most impressive of all, there will be a 16 mega pixel, OIS-enhanced camera mounted on the back. The phones will be the first to be the first Android smart devices to feature 64-bit Snapdragon 810, too. As the brand name indicates, the difference with the Edge version is that its panel will be curved down over both its sides and – thus far – this appears to be the only distinguishing feature.

According to some of the leaks that have come out of Samsung in recent months, the S6's screen has been given particular attention. The 1440 x 2560 resolution, 2k UHD display is likely to be one of its most attractive features for many consumers. The smart phone will also feature wireless charging and at least 3GB of RAM, although some reports say 4GB will be the standard offering. The South Korean manufacturer has opted to do away with the much criticised plastic case of the S5 which had a cheap feel to it. Instead, the S6's design will be based on a metal bezel which will protect the thinner, 6.8mm body. It will also be covered in ultra-tough 'Gorilla' glass. Ultimately, it will only be once consumers get the S6 in their hands that we'll be able to see all it has to offer and how it lines up against its competitors from the likes of HTC, Sony and Apple.
